CERAMIC MEZUZAH CASE
A Mezuzah is a Jewish symbol of protection for the doorpost of a home or office, originated in the bible story of the Hebrew Exodus from Ancient Egypt. It marks the doorpost and symbolizes the safe-keeping of the household. It can be placed on the entry door, and on any doorpost inside a home, providing it is a living room (bathrooms or laundry rooms excluded). Inside is a piece of parchment called a klaf inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and 11:13–21[1]). These verses consist of the Jewish prayer Shema Israel, beginning with the phrase: "Hear, O Israel, the Lord (is) our God, the Lord is One".
My Mezuzah cases are made of ceramic and can be hanged by two small holes on each extreme side of the case. It can also be attached to the doorpost by gluing it. They do not contain the scroll inside- which should be purchased separately.
It is a special Judaica gift for any occasion and can be used inside or outside the house.
It is carefully wrapped to protect it and comes in a canvas colorful bag.
