The pomegranate has been a Jewish symbol of plenty, prosperity and fruitfulness, was mentioned many times in the bible, due to its numerous seeds. it's also found on ancient Judean coins. it is said that the origin of the star of David comes from the pomegranate's crown- the six petals that form a star.
It is traditional to consume pomegranates on Rosh Hashana because it symbolizes fruitfulness.
It is also a symbol in many different cultures, going back to Ancient Egyptians that revered it as a symbol of prosperity and ambition.

My purpose was to create an a-symmetric pomegranate that resembles a bit the Bauhaus style.
The coloring is simple, with special emphasis on the crown.
